“We are in what I call a budget constraint, not a budget crisis,” Dr. Eric Mackey, superintendent of the Jacksonville City Schools, told the Jacksonville Exchange Club at their Aug. 28 meeting.
While potential students have until Aug. 27 to register at Wharton County Junior College for the fall semester, the sooner the process is started the better. That was the advice of WCJC Director of Admissions and Registration Karen Preisler gave this week. She explained there is certain information the college needs on file before the registration process can be completed.
